The Aimpoint Micro T-2 is a big deal. The didn't just upgrade the T-1, they redesigned it. The more rugged housing physically protects the top turret now and can mount flip covers and anti-reflection devices. The internals are a lot more robust as well, the T-1 was already tough as nails so I guess the T-2 is as tough as a hammer. Not just a Chinese pot-metal hammer. But a "Made In The U.S.A." hammer.

The new lens coatings are one of the most important developments. The new coating dramatically improves the clarity of the dot and helps reduce distortion of the shape. No matter the angle you are looking at it the dot should be consistently perfect.
