Over the past many months, parents around the country have awakened to a new set of challenges related to race, gender, religious identity, and the meaning of America itself. In this cultural minefield,  Jewish families face unique questions. How can we educate our children to be committed citizens, proud Zionists, and courageous Jews? How deeply have anti-Semitic and anti-Zionist ideas penetrated mainstream American culture and universities? How do we help Jewish children—and all American children—navigate the moral hazards they will face academically, culturally, and religiously? How can parents reassert their authority in shaping the moral and religious formation of their children?

Our community needs to discuss these questions, and Tikvah’s Jewish Parents Forum is inviting everyone to join the conversation: parents and students, educators and lay leaders, conservatives and liberals, to think together about the new forces at play in our institutions, media, and culture.

Join Eric Cohen, the Executive Director of the Tikvah Fund, along with Liel Leibovitz of Tablet and Jonathan Silver of Mosaic for a spirited conversation at the Young Israel of Scarsdale.

You are invited to join us in person (Young Israel of Scarsdale 1313 Weaver St, Scarsdale, NY 10583) or via livestream over Zoom!
