This retro collaboration collection is inspired by vintage gift shop souvenirs, and every single piece in the range is made from a responsible fabric, including Organic Cotton, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ viscose, and Livaeco™ Viscose!     Say hello to Alan, the bucket hat that’s here to make summer dressing a whole lot more fun! This limited edition ‘90s-inspired sunhat features an all-over sage-toned dinosaur print based on early 20th-century artworks by natural history artist Neave Parker. Crafted from deadstock fabric from elsewhere in the NHM X Joanie collection (brought back from extinction), Alan has sunny days, holidays, and festivals written all over it! 

    Neave Parker’s dinosaur artworks, first published in the 1960s, were based on fossil remains and the scientific expertise of palaeontologists of the time. Parker's reconstructions were initially believed to be accurate - palaeoart images of dinosaurs are only ever as accurate as the fossil evidence available - but as our scientific knowledge of the biology, morphology, and behaviour of these dinosaurs has increased, their perceived appearance has changed. Despite this, Parker’s illustrations are incredibly beautiful, and they remain favourites among dinosaur fans and experts alike.
