Joanie accessories have landed, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our brand-new collection of hats, collars, headbands, and cosmetics bags is crafted from leftover fabric in some of our most coveted prints. 

From classic polka dots to vintage-inspired florals and even some #NHMXJoanie dinosaurs, these brand-new pieces are designed to compliment your Joanie outfits. The idea came from our Brand Director, Lucy, while she was on a recent work trip to India. Lucy visited some of our factories and saw the potential to rework some of the leftover fabric used elsewhere in our collections into fun accessories to stop the material from going to waste.

Sustainability is something we think about a lot at Joanie - it’s at the heart of our brand, and we’re making the conscious choice to reduce waste wherever we can. We know that there’s still a lot to do, but by using up some of the fabric that might otherwise have been wasted to make beautiful accessories, we’re helping do our bit for the planet!

Our biggest goal for 2023 is to become B Corp certified. The B in B Corp stands for ‘better,’ and this commitment puts sustainability and ethics at the heart of every decision we make as a business. By making more deadstock fabric accessories, we hope to limit any fabric waste involved with creating our clothing while creating more vintage-inspired pieces for you to add to your wardrobe!

We still have more to do, but we have taken the stance that where a more positive solution to a question exists, we will always try to take it.
