Something happened in the dealership yesterday that I thought I would share… A good friend of mine was in to by a car for his daughter. At a desk close to the one he was sitting at, a lady was explaining to the product consultant that she loved a car she looked at, but couldn’t afford the payment. He offered another car and she liked it and the payment would work, so she would take it. Hearing all of this and seeing that she was disappointed, my friend got up from his chair, walked over and asked the consultant how much it would take to get her to the payment she needed…… he replied “2000” dollars. He pulled out his credit card… .he paid the 2000 for the lady…. She got the car she wanted. He saw how happy she was…. it brought tears to both their eyes… When I was immediately told of the story, I texted him and he wrote back, “Dave, we are all so fortunate and to help is our responsibility”…. Pretty cool moment… cool guy… I won’t say his name, because he wouldn’t like that… but, I have cool friends….

We have been chosen the Delaware County Small Business of the Year by the Delco Chamber of Commerce… Blew me away when I was notified…humbled and very honored..

For those not in the Philly area, here’s the ad I ran at halftime yesterday… wish my Birds had held in, but we saw an amazing game for sure….

Ok, so, last year I was the first car dealer to ever run an ad on the Super Bowl… I was content to drop the mic’ and walk away… but my friends at Fox covinced me otherwise…. so, in the Philly today (roughly 4 million people), immediately after the first half ends, the first commercial should be ours…. we did something a little different…keep an eye out…for friends and family that don’t see it, we’ll post it simultaneously…Have a great day everyone!
