When your wife is a Service Advisor with 60 open ROs and staying late to catch up. You surprise her with a romantic Subway dinner date at work with a side of Excedrin migraine 🤣🤣
I love dynamics like this in the service department. Some people see it as a conflict of interest and won't even entertain the thought, but man, some couples are straight up power couples in the workplace!

If there was anything I could say to the industry, it would go something like this…..
“Dear Automotive Industry, I’m not an experiment. I’m a human, a husband, a father, and a consummate professional at what I do. While you’re busy tip-toeing around feelings and the way you’ve always done it, I’m focused on facts, the business, and your people.
Throw every challenge at me you want. At no point will I back down. My fire to make people better versions of themselves cannot be put out. My desire to run a department by the books is second to none. My passion to serve people runs deep. Support what I bring to the table and be a partner in building the business. Failure is not an option!”
I’ve never taken a new opportunity following the previous person getting a promotion or retiring from a successful operation. In every case, what I walk into is a department that’s disorganized, staff that’s not motivated, expenses out of control, and a non-existent guest experience. Has it ever stopped me? Am I scared of it? Nope!
However, because those dealerships have shuffled through Service Managers like a bad playlist, my success hangs by a thread of trust in many cases. Only once in my career have I had complete and uninterrupted autonomy in my role. That was when I worked with AMSI and Danny Pompa back in GA. I remember vividly the day Danny grabbed me by the arm and said “you’re a leader.” Every opportunity since has had very valuable lessons. However, Danny supported everything 100%. In the event something didn’t work he’d say something like, “well you screwed that up, try again.” I think he’d even let me do something even if he knew it wouldn’t work! 🤣🤣
Thank you AMSI and Jack Joyce for recognizing the transformation hard work that took place back in GA.
I’m happy to announce that I’ve accepted a new opportunity with AMSI and ADRIAN MIRON as Fixed Ops Director for Louisville CDJR, BMW of Louisville, and Volvo Cars of Louisville. There’s a massive amount of people to serve and the opportunities to grow are abundant!
As always!
