okay, what's the story here?

Get ready to join in on the excitement as 13 Fifty Apparel, a South Florida-based brand, announces its second annual Florida Law Enforcement Appreciation Event, set to take place on May 6, 2023, at its West Palm Beach headquarters.

13 Fifty Apparel was founded in 2016 by Chris Lewis, a South Florida Law Enforcement Officer who had a vision to create a product that could be worn proudly by the First Responder community. His idea was met with demand, and 13 Fifty Apparel, the brand, was born. But Chris and his team had a larger goal in mind: they sought not only to make gear for First Responders but to be part of a larger community that they could give back to.

As part of #OPERATIONRESPONDER, they partnered with First Responder charities all over the country, and since its inception, 13 Fifty Apparel has supported National Police Week in Washington, DC. However, due to the disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 and 2021, the brand decided to host its first annual Florida Law Enforcement Appreciation event in 2022 at their headquarters in West Palm Beach, which was a huge success with hundreds of attendees from all over Florida.

This year's event promises to be even more exciting as 13 Fifty Apparel partners with Team South Florida, a 501c3 Non-Profit Law Enforcement Charity, to show support and solidarity for Law Enforcement. Proceeds from the event will be donated to Team South Florida to assist with their mission of honoring the memory of officers who have died in the line of duty and to assist their families.

"We are thrilled to host this event for the second time and to continue our partnership with Team South Florida," said Chris Lewis, the founder of 13 Fifty Apparel. "Our goal is to give back to the First Responder community that we are so proud to be a part of, and to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities."

The event is open to all members of the community, and families are encouraged to come. It will be a day of celebration and honoring those who have been lost in the Law Enforcement Community, featuring live music, a full liquor bar, delicious food, corn hole tournaments, raffles, children’s activities, law enforcement demonstrations, and a candlelight vigil.

Don't miss this opportunity to show your support for Law Enforcement and to enjoy a day of fun-filled activities.
