School’s out for summer, and you know what that means: Kids are going to need something to do. Sure, there’s plenty of fun to be had in the great outdoors, but at a certain point the air conditioning is going to come calling, and what then? Well, we’ve got good news. Every week this summer, new kids and family content is dropping on Netflix, from animated shows based on popular children’s films like The Boss Baby and Kung Fu Panda, to adaptations like Ivy & Bean, to new and exciting projects like The Sea Beast and Lost Ollie.

And on top of all that, Netflix Family Summer is going on tour. You’ll be able to catch up with the Netflix Family Summer activity truck in cities around the country, and follow along at home with a handy activity guide. Below, you can get the lowdown on this summer in Netflix family content. The AC is streaming, and so is Netflix.

July 31 — Atlanta

  • 9:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.: The Battery (located next to Baseballism)

Aug. 1 — Atlanta

  • 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.: Central Library, One Margaret Mitchell Square, Atlanta

  • 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m.: South Fulton Branch Library, 4055 Flat Shoals Road, Union City, GA 30291

Aug. 14 — Houston

  • 11:30 a.m.–4:00 p.m.: Minute Maid Park - Home of the Houston Astros. Truck will be parked outside the Main Gate, no ticket required and is not included.

Aug. 28 — Miami

  • 10:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m.: LoanDepot Park - Home of the Miami Marlins. Truck will be parked in the West Plaza, no ticket required and is not included.

June 6 Action Pack The team of superpowered youngsters is back, continuing their mission to save the day, bring out the good in each other, and learn a few lessons about friendship. They may even win over a few villains along the way.

Sharkdog - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

June 30 Sharkdog  He’s a shark, he’s a dog, he’s a... sharkdog? In Season 2 of the animated series, Sharkdog and Max head off on a new adventure, leaving a typically sharkdoggy trail of chaos behind him.

Karma's World - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

July 7 Karma’s World  Groove down to Season 3 of Karma’s World, in which the talented young middle schooler raps and rhymes her way through any problem with her trademark sense of humor. The series was created by Chris ‘Ludacris’ Bridges; Karma is based on his own daughter.

The Sea Beast - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

July 8 The Sea Beast An unlikely duo set off on an ocean-bound adventure in the new animated movie from the co-director of Bolt, Big Hero 6 and Moana. Along the way, they’ll meet creatures both ferocious and friendly and discover there’s much more to their world than meets the eye.

Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

July 14 Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight Jack Black reprises his role as Po the Dragon Master in this spin-off of the popular animated trilogy. In the new series, Po must restore his reputation after a humiliating defeat by finding a set of magical weapons before a villainous pair of weasels do. Fortunately, he’ll have some help in the form of a formidable wandering knight voiced by Rita Ora.

Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

July 21 Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous You’ll be shocked to hear this, but it’s happening again: In the fifth and final season of Camp Cretaceous, the dinosaurs of Jurassic World have escaped their habitat and are rampaging across the island of Isla Nublar. The kids of Camp Cretaceous will have to survive once again. Someone should invest in some stronger fences for this place.

July 25 Gabby’s Dollhouse Gabby’s tour through her fantastical dollhouse continues in Season 5 of the animated series. Get ready for new mini-worlds and, as usual, more of her endlessly surprising feline friends.

Aug. 5 Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie In this film continuation of the popular animated series, the heroes in a half-shell must face the invasion of the Krang, a deadly alien fighting force from another universe. As Michelangelo would say, Cowabunga!

13: The Musical - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

Aug. 12 13: The Musical Debra Messing, Peter Hermann, Rhea Perlman and Josh Peck star in this film adaptation of the 2008 Broadway musical. It follows Evan (Eli Golden), a 12-year-old on the verge of being a teen, as he struggles to adjust to a new school, childhood social dilemmas and his impending bar mitzvah.

The Cuphead Show! - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

Aug. 19 The Cuphead Show! In Volume 2 of the video game adaptation, Cuphead and Mugman will continue to explore the reaches of the Inkwell Isles, bringing their trademark cartoon slapstick to new heights. In the new episodes, they’ll have to face off against an enemy a bit out of their comfort zone: the Devil himself?

Lost Ollie - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

Aug. 24 Lost Ollie Based on the book Ollie’s Odyssey by William Joyce, Lost Ollie follows a toy as he searches the countryside for the young boy who lost him. The series is created by Shannon Tindle, character designer for Kubo and the Two Strings, and is directed by Peter Ramsey, who made a big impression as the director of Rise of the Guardians and the co-director of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. The cast includes Jonathan Groff, Mary J. Blige, Tim Blake Nelson, Gina Rodriguez, Jake Johnson, and Kesler Talbot.

Ivy & Bean - Beat the Heat with Netflix Family Summer

Sept. 2 Ivy & Bean The popular children’s book gets a live-action adaptation in September, with Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Nia Vardalos and Jane Lynch co-starring alongside the mismatched pair. 

And all through the summer keep an eye out for the Netflix Family Summer activity truck, which will showcase photo opportunities, character meet-and-greets and more.
