Walker Sports Audit ensures you are receiving representation from your trusted advisors that you can actually trust. In short, we watch the people watching your money and investments.
THE WHY
Embezzlement, theft, damage, and destruction come from all directions in a constant storm. It seems like everyone has their hand in the cookie jar.
In 2015, Tim Duncan accused his former advisor of bilking him out of over $20M. At the time, he said, “I know what I am doing. It’s not like I was squandering my money or being irresponsible. I am a professional athlete, and I am constantly on the road. I did the appropriate thing and hired professional advisors to watch over my money and my investments. The problem was there was no one watching them.” In 2018, Tim settled for a recovery of $7.5M. It was the best he could do, while his advisor, Charles Banks, was eventually sentenced to four years in federal prison for defrauding him.

Since 2015, the need for Walker Sports Audit has only grown more critical. Tim Duncan’s story, along with countless other stories, and encouraged by the founding partners of Black Progress Matters, Walker Sports Audit is scheduled to launch.

WHO WE ARE
Walker Sports Audit is an independent audit service that autonomously evaluates our client’s entire portfolio of endorsements, contracts, investments, compliance, insurance, and tax reporting for a fixed or contingency fee. WSA also evaluates and rates all of our client’s financial relationships, especially with their agents, lawyers, accountants, coaches, doctors, trainers, advisors, family, and friends. Additionally, WSA can provide our clients with independent continuous monitoring services for all of their financial activity.
WHO WE ARE NOT
Most importantly, no WSA service provider will ever be able to be engaged by our clients beyond our WSA engagement. We will not be looking to solicit clients beyond our stated services. We will never attempt to replace our client’s accountants, agents, etc., we simply offer our clients a very valuable and necessary audit and evaluation with a degree of separation that ensures no compromising agenda or misplaced loyalties.
WHO WE SERVE
Although we will initially be addressing athletes and celebrities [who fill the news every day with horror stories of how they were ruined by embezzlement from their most trusted advisors], we feel our independent audit and continuous monitoring services will also prove valuable to clients who have considerable estates with little limited personal business acumen or experience. Estates acquired through inheritance or divorce are particularly at risk from unscrupulous or indifferent fiduciary oversight.
THE BLACK PROGRESS RESOURCES MISSION
Walker Sports Audit has received its initial funding as a Black Progress Resources Black-Owned Incubated Business.
Black Progress Resources [BPR] recognizes that the color of the executive suite and boardroom speaks volumes about the character of an organization as well as the true opportunity available for people of color [in that organization]. BPR believes that if you look to the top of an organization and see Black leadership - it will inspire everyone of color in that organization.

Our main objective, therefore, is to change the color of executive suites and boardrooms in organizations worldwide through our various executive staffing activities.

BPR's Core Mission is built on the premise that if BP Executive Staffing [BPX] can secure the opportunity to fill an executive opening for an organization with a qualified and appropriate Black candidate, we can change the color of the executive suite while enhancing the aspiration of everyone of color within the organization.

Leading organizations require diversity in leadership to add perspective and effectiveness as their employee base becomes increasingly more diverse. While there has been encouraging growth in Black professionals in the workplace, many organizations are struggling with diversity at the executive and boardroom level - and delivering Black leadership in both the executive suite and boardroom is key to our mission.

While our BP Executive Staffing Program is the first pillar of our mission, BPR also provides an ambitious incubator program for the development and funding of Black-owned start-ups. Developing successful Black ownership is an essential component of our core mission to change the color of leadership worldwide.
