My Final Linked In Post Please bear with me whilst I’m a little indulgent. The facts are these 8 days ago I was diagnosed with a Stage 4 incurable and hyper aggressive brain tumour with survival measured in weeks. The purpose of the post isn’t to gain sympathy- I have had a blessed and great life (no regrets). Obviously my focus is now on my family and telling them each day how much I love them and thank them for what I have. However I also want to thank the many colleagues, customers, suppliers and journalists who I have had the pleasure of working with - many I consider to be friends. Even if we haven’t always got along I have learnt so much from you, so thank you. And yes I should of been more open minded and patient at times (so sorry).😊 Just before I had my diagnosis I read that if you were given an extra 5 minutes of life you wouldn’t waste it on doing another deal but focus on your family. I consider myself lucky that I have weeks to say goodbye and fill that time with positive memories. Thanks again everyone - until we meet again x

Henri-Lloyd is a UK heritage brand renowned for producing world-class waterproof clothing for Yachting & Boating and International Sportswear markets with ambitious growth plans. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service to join us on the journey. Purpose of role: Working with the Customer Operation Manager and the Sales Team you would deliver world-class service through all aspects of the buying journey – from enquiry to after-sales care. You will: Have a minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in a wholesale b2b customer service role ideally including operation of an automated customer portal management. Have an empathetic personality with a friendly attitude with a desire to deliver World Class Customer Care. Enjoy problem-solving. Be a team player, who is it resilient and pragmatic with an eye for detail. Be happy working in a start-up company that is beginning to scale and where everyone is hands-on and multi-skilled. Be passionate about learning systems and wanting to make things better. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is preferable but not essential, however good Excel skills are essential. Have excellent oral and written communication skills and enjoy speaking with customers. Ideally have experience in international shipping.   Job Role will cover: Maintaining Customer Records. Order Book Management. Invoicing. Delivery logistics. Ability to give clear instructions to customers to resolve issues. Inbound and outbound calls and communication.
