It’s the most wonderful time of the year: Giving Tuesday! Today we are completing our 2021 donation pledge for our Songbirds Collection by contributing to the National Audubon Society. We’re also sharing all the organizations and causes we’ve supported over the year thanks to your purchases and continued business!

For the past few years we have committed to donating a portion of our profits to organizations that support the animals and ecosystems that inspire our designs. Last year we were able to contribute $5,000.00 to Sea Shepherd and Oceana thanks to your purchases of our Coastal Collection. This spring we introduced our Songbirds collection along with a donation pledge to the National Audubon Society.

We’re pleased to announce that we are donating 10% of 2021 profits from our Songbirds Collection today, totaling $2,500.00! The National Audubon Society protects birds and the places they need throughout the Americas using science, advocacy, education, and on-the-ground conservation. This year we were lucky to make several donations to environmental and humanitarian organizations thanks to your continued support of our business! Below we review the organizations we contributed to this past year!

Giving to India

In response to the COVID-19 crisis in India this past spring we pledged to donate 1% of sales to India. Our production partners in India recommended supporting Give India and Project Nanhi Kali. This year we donated $9,000.00 to each organization totaling $18,000.00 in contributions. The $9,000.00 donated to Project Nanhi Kali amounted to 37 scholarships for girls in need!

We will be completing this pledge this year in an effort to direct donations to other organizations and causes in 2022 and beyond.

Spring Fundraisers

This spring we also committed to donating a percentage of weekend sales to City Harvest and Black Girls with Gardens. We raised a total of $1,000.00 for both organizations thanks to your purchases with us!

20% of Weekend Sales went to City Harvest in honor of Earth Day totaling $500.00

City Harvest helps to feed more than 1.5 million New Yorkers by rescuing over 144 million pounds of food a year.

Black Girls with Gardens provides representation, inspiration, support, and education to Black women interested in gardening. Donations support their goal to create a community garden in Pensacola, FL.

Women for Women International

Supporting Afghan Women

This summer, in response to the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan we donated $10,000 to Women for Women International

Women for Women International has been involved in Afghanistan since 2002, providing support and healthcare to 127,000 women in five provinces. They are currently working with displaced women and families while navigating the quickly changing landscape.

Contribution to First Nations

We are also donating 10% of total profits from our Abundance table runner and Three Sisters dinner napkin to the First Nations Development Institute for a total contribution of $1,000.00

First Nations Development Institute improves economic conditions for Native Americans through direct financial grants, technical assistance & training, and advocacy & policy.

Our Abundance and Three Sisters table linens depict agricultural staples of Indigenous peoples in Early America.
