Surgical addition to a low carb diet
I don't do keto, but I am heavily restricting my carbs. I've felt that restriction in the gym, the weights felt heavy and moved slowly. I added carb-1 to my diet pre-workout, two scoops about 1hr before lifting while on my way home from work. It doesn't blow your mind with energy but it does give me the exact amount of carbs I need to get through a strenuous powerlifting block. It's low cal too, I consider it a building block I stack pre-workout onto that gives me back the power I otherwise lost on such a restrictive diet. The flavor is solid, I bought both sweet potato pie and fudge pop. If you're watching carbs, but want to surgically enter them into your day to fuel a workout, this was absolutely the solution for me and will probably be for you too. Skip the sugar filled Gatorade or soggy oats, get yourself some on the go, on demand fuel.
