Better than Ebay, Amazon, Etsy

It is reassuring that a decent UK Company can go head to head with the big boys. Was looking for a good New Years sale to buy binoculars. They ended up being the cheapest in the UK, and with service, superstar postage. You can drop Ebay, Etsy, Amazon.....because Ardmore have quality , service and prices that beat them !

Very poor information regarding…

Very poor information regarding delivery time. Turns out available on the website doesn't mean they have it in stock!! Now may be waiting a couple of weeks for delivery due to christmas but this was not clearly relayed before ordering.

Excellent company

I really appreciate the communication from Ardmoor when the product stock was delayed. Why can't all company's send you a simple email and just let you know.

Easy-to-use website and a good returns/exchange policy

They have an easy-to-use website and a wide range of products on it. I'd never heard of the company, so did the usual review checks, but couldn't find anything that worried me. I ended up ordering a couple of jackets (for wildlife photography) in their black Friday sales, which is always a risk when they're also brands that you've never used before. Their prices, even without the added discounts, were very competitive, but the added discount always makes it feel like you've nabbed a bargain. The order was processed fairly quickly, but one of the jackets had to be ordered from the manufacturer (which I was aware of when I placed the order), so I knew I would have to wait a few days extra for it. After only a couple of days, I received an email update to say that the order had been dispatched and it arrived in a respectable time too. Unfortunately, one of the jackets was a little bigger than I hoped for, so I visited their returns portal and requested an exchange. Their portal enabled me to send it back, for exchange, at their cost. That was on a Saturday afternoon, so by the time I printed the label and got it dropped in at a community post office counter, it was then not scheduled to be in the system until Monday morning. It's now Friday afternoon in the same week and I've just received the replacement jacket, I don't think anybody can complain about a service like that. Whilst hesitant about ordering from them in the first instance, I do think that they'll now be my first point of contact, when I'm next looking for outdoor gear. Thank you for a great service!

Great customer service, as usual.

I’ve bought several things from Ardmour over recent years and customer service has always been very good. Recently bought some boots which arrived quickly and were fine but just not for me. The returns process could not be simpler and the refund was processed 2 days after I dropped them off at the post office.

3 outdoor pants

The quality of the ordered pants is just outstanding. Second to none. This is true for design, materials, as well as processing and workmanship. Announced sizes are correct.

Delivery was fast, without any issues.
I can warmly commend Ardmoor as an absolutely sophisticated online shop.

Flawless first order

An easy to use website with much clarity about the products sold gives great comfort to the first time purchaser. Found a coat I liked then sought to find the best price, including delivery, and discovered ArdMoor.
Flawless first order, price and service excellent. Hope to buy again soon. Highly recommended.

Hoggs of Fife Trek Shoe

I find it very difficult getting walking/hiking shoes at size 6 1/2. Took at chance with the
Hoggs of Fife Torridon Waxy Leather W/P Trek Shoe. I am absolutely delighted with the quality, extremely comfortable and have not had to walk them in. I will always recommend Ardmoor for quality and service.

Style, good quality and comfortable

I was looking for a quality outdoor coat which didn’t make me like look like a bag lady. This coat was a lovely fit, feeling quite light but still warm enough. Got to test it’s waterproof performance during a miserable wet bank holiday, and it kept me lovely and dry.

Great service and good value

The title says it all. Had to return one pair of shoes as the fit was not quite right. Refund was processed promptly and the replacement order (a different style) despatched immediately. It arrived the next day. Great experience.

Nice new wellies for Spring

I chose my new wellingtons and made my purchase at Ardmoor online.
They arrived a few days later, and the quality looks very good.
Time will tell how they wear, but I would recommend Ardmoor as a source of outdoor clothing and footwear.

I'm wearing the Hoggs of Fife Cullen…

I'm wearing the Hoggs of Fife Cullen chukka boots as I write and am just off on a trip to Scotland ! I changed the size 10's for a size 9.5 and they were perfect from the moment I put my foot in to them. The reimbursement was very quick from Ardmoor. I like the Hoggs brand generally and have 3 pairs currently of the moleskin trousers which have been great through the winter, in fiact I'm wearing the navy blue ones as well, as they are fine for tidy casual or if I need to wear them with a jacket and tie.

Article exactly as described and received on time. Only minor issue I had was difficulty getting through to customer service on the phone (took over 2 hours) but query dealt with efficiently when I did get to speak with someone.

Excellent Scottish company

I liked the fact that ArdMoor stocked only high quality items and had the product I wanted at a good price. I was kept fully updated on the processing of my order throughout and it was clear to me that the company genuinely cares about its customers. Highly recommended.

Ordering was easy and straight forward. Initial processing of my order seemed slow but once I received the email it was dispatched it arrived the next day and the original delivery estimate was met. Overall very happy with the service and would use Ardmoor again.

Product was delivered quickly and well however boots are faulty

Product was delivered quickly and well packaged however my boots have since failed in less than six months and Ardmore have sorted out a replacement set of boots from ariat let's hope these ones last a bit longer

Good service

Good service, easy to purchase from, and quality items. Delivery could be swifter; had to wait almost a week for both of my orders despite 2-3 days quoted but maybe I have been spoiled by next day deliveries from Amazon etc. Would certainly use them again and I can recommend them overall.

Great customer service

I ordered 2 items from ArdMoor, they arrived very promptly. One I was very happy with, the other unfortunately had a fault. I contacted customer services regarding the faulty item and received amazing customer service. As soon as they received the returned item the refund was very quickly in my account. Good products, great service, would definitely recommend this company.
