Great app… current issue tho

I love the app. Super handy to log minutes for my kids. They love turning the timer on when we start reading.
Currently if I hit the view progress button the app crashes. I have the latest update on my phone. I know my second child is close to finishing up her summer reading but can’t see how long she’s actually read.

Hello! Thank you for your review. The issue you're describing is resolved in the current versino of the app. To be sure you have the newest version, uninstall, then re-download it from the App Store.

If you see a prompt to downlad an upate, click " yes".

Annoying

I’m doing 1000 books before kindergarten with my daughter. The old app wouldn’t let me find other books in the app that she finished then decided to want to read again. (This has been over the course of a few months) I see the same 6-8 books in the list of what she’s read and when I go to scan, it doesn’t register them since she’s ’read and finished them’ before. I can’t delete and find other books she finished. I’d like it to be able to recall and find them easier. I can see them under progress of being completed but can’t bring them back to currently reading. And now she can’t read current books multiple times that we get from the library, we usually read the books twice in the two weeks we have them. 🙃🫠. I can only scan and just mark as read. Then it goes ‘away’ since my same books I’ve read are still showing from months ago. It’s so frustrating and not user friendly.

Hello. Thank you for using Reader Zone.

We have released a new version of the app that makes it easier to re-read a book. Visit the App Store to download the newest version of the app.

To use the new feature, click on your "Book Bank" icon on the bottom of the screen. You will see all the books that you have already finished in chronological order.

Click the button next to the book jacked that says "Read Again". This will register that you've read the book again and it will count toward your 1000 books.

If you do download the new app, you might ty totally uninstalling it first, then powering down the phone and re-installing the new app. This way, you'll be sure to receive a complete download and pull any updates to your iOS software.

Not User Friendly

I like the idea of this app, however the set up and functionality of this app are not good. I am using this app to keep track of the books I read to my toddler and it is honestly so much effort! When trying to add books that we have added to her book bank it is almost impossible to find them! Once you do scan the book it takes forever to show up in your “book bank”. If you want to read a book multiple times it seems like you have to scan it and add it back to your bank before you can select that you read that book again. There’s also no way to search while selecting the book you read so you just have to scroll down until you find the one you are looking for, if it is even still in your bank - which most of the time it isn’t.
I would love for this app to be more user friendly and easier to use.
