Learn about the first woman full professor at Columbia University College of Physicians. Virginia Apgar designed the Apgar Score which was the first standardized method for evaluating newborn health. This method is still used in hospitals today. Apgar devoted herself to the prevention of birth defects through public education and fundraising for research.
We're celebrating important women in medicine, like Apgar, and offering $15 Off through March 31 to help people be better prepared medically.
