Two of the world’s most widely planted red grapes delicately collide into one blend that balances and complements each other; smooth texture with full-bodied characteristics. The Shiraz’s spicy and peppery side takes well to the plum, currants, and dark cherry flavors of Merlot. Oak aging is typical of this style to round out these overt fruit tones and can be done with light and dark oak.

Food Pairings: Pair this blend with grilled veal chops and herbs, Chilli con carne, meatballs in an herb and tomato sauce, and nearly any beef dish.

This wine turned out great. Instructions were clear, easy to follow. Super easy to make. I will recommend this. I just ordered the cab merlot kit to try next.

Still clearing

This kit is still clearing but I have had good luck with Master Vintner kits so I expect this to turn out very well. However, I have been bulk aging for six months after clearing and then six more months in the bottle and this really seems to help improve these wines.
